Privacy Policy
This page describes how SCREENS LANDSCAPE ("this journal") handles information about its readers.
Operator
This journal is operated by the SCREENS LANDSCAPE Administration Office (Tokyo). Information about the operating company, and matters concerning the handling of retained personal data, will be provided without delay upon request through the contact listed below.
Information We Collect and Why
This journal does not use analytics tools or advertising trackers of its own. The only situation in which we collect personal information directly is when you contact us by email.
Information received with an enquiry (name, email address, and the content of the enquiry) is used solely to respond to the enquiry and for editorial verification where necessary. It is not shared with third parties except as required by law.
Transmission of Visitor Information to Third Parties
As a matter of editorial policy, this journal does not re-host images or video; media appears through official embeds provided by the original publishers. As a result, viewing an article may transmit certain information about you to the third-party services below. In line with the external-transmission disclosure rules of the Japanese Telecommunications Business Act, we list each recipient, the information transmitted, and its purpose.

Uses no cookies and stores no identifier on the reader's device. IP addresses are not retained and are not used to track individual readers. Views of the admin screens and preview links are excluded from the figures.
In addition, official embeds from trusted hosts (iframes) that appear within articles may transmit similar information to their providers. Every embed displays its provider (credit) and official page (source).
Information Stored in Your Browser
This journal does not set cookies of its own. Only the minimum information needed for display — such as your theme preference (localStorage) — is stored in your browser. This information is never transmitted externally.
Our analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) also uses no cookies and stores no identifier in your browser, which is why this site shows no consent banner. A single authentication cookie is issued only when an editorial staff member signs in to the admin screens.

To request disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of your personal information, please contact us at the address below. After verifying your identity, we will respond promptly in accordance with applicable law.

This policy may be revised in response to changes in law or in the service. Significant changes will be announced on this page.
